Indeed Inc., which claims to be the world’s largest job site, is opening an office in Scottsdale and hiring at least 100 people.
Indeed has signed a lease at 4343 N. Scottsdale Road and will move in the second quarter of the year.
The city’s growing economy, progressive culture and abundance of talent proved to be a good fit for Indeed when the company researched locations for the new office.
“The greater Phoenix area offers us access to an incredible talent pool of individuals looking to start or grow their career,” said Nolan Farris, Indeed’s senior vice president of sales. “As a rapidly growing technology company, it makes sense for us to be where the talent is to help us achieve our goals. Phoenix will be a perfect location for the expectations we have for our company’s expansion and growth.”
Indeed, which was founded in 2004, will be hiring employees locally in sales and client service positions.
Employees will be hired in a variety of experience levels, from entry level to more experienced professionals.
“We anticipate that the majority of the initial hires will be recent college graduates or individuals with one to three years of sales experience,” said Kristen Gehring, an Indeed spokeswoman. “We will also be hiring experienced managers to oversee the staff.”
Indeed allows job seekers to search millions of jobs on the web or mobile in over 60 countries and 28 languages.
More than 200 million people each month search for jobs, post resumes and research companies on Indeed.
The company employs more than 4,000 people globally.
