REGENT PICKS UP OFFICE PROJECT IN $51.3 MILLION DEAL
Phoenix – With its recent purchase of a Phoenix office project, Regent Properties LLC of Los Angeles, Calif. has invested $200 + million to buy more than 1 million sq. ft. of office space in the Valley in the past 10 months. The buying binge of five commercial real estate assets in the Phoenix area, which began in November 2014, gives Regent Properties a Valley portfolio totaling 1.538 million sq. ft. of office, flex and retail space in eight projects (the company acquired 380,317 sq. ft. of office space in three other deals completed from March 2010 to February 2014). In a transaction recorded Sept. 3, a venture formed by Regent Properties paid $51.3 million ($176.40 per foot) to acquire a 290,824-square-foot office project in Phoenix. The complex, called Squaw Peak Corporate Center, is comprised of a four-story, 163,360-square-foot structure located at 7720 N. 16th Street and a three-story, 127,464-square-foot building at 7740 N. 16th Street.
$33.9 MILLION FOR CHANDLER FORUM
Chandler – A company formed by Tryperion Partners LLC in Los Angeles, Calif. (Eliot Bencuya, Jeffrey Karsh, Joseph Kessel, partners) paid $33.9 million ($226.21 per foot) to acquire a 149,863-square-foot office building located at 1975 S. Price Road in Chandler.
