As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.

The Arizona Coyotes’ search for a new arena may be landing at a former drive-in movie theater on the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community across from Scottsdale’s Big Surf water park.
KPNX-TV Channel 12 reported — and a knowledgeable source has told the Phoenix Business Journal — that the Coyotes could announce it wants to build a new arena at land near McKellips and McClintock roads on the Salt River reservation.
Part of the land includes the former home to the Scottsdale 6 drive-in theaters.
They closed down in 2011.
The land is nestled in between Scottsdale and Tempe and the Loops 101 and 202.
Coyotes management have said they will announce a new arena site before the NHL draft, which starts Friday.
The Coyotes want to move out of Glendale’s Gila River Arena to another Phoenix-area location.
The team looked at sites in downtown Phoenix but that required sharing a new arena with the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury, both owned by Robert Sarver as well as a possible joint arena deal in Tempe with Arizona State University.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies already have a spring training ballpark on the Salt River reservation.
The Indian tribe has prime development parcels along the Loop 101 freeway just east of Scottsdale and north of Tempe and ASU.
The Salt River land has been one of the options for the Coyotes and could be for the Arizona Diamondbacks if the team leaves Chase Field in downtown Phoenix.
The Coyotes also looked at sites in Mesa for a new Arizona home but appear to be focused on Salt River land.
