New York-based Rockefeller Group and Investment Property Associates LLC (IPA) were developing two new Class A apartment complexes in the Phoenix market.
The projects in Phoenix’s Deer Valley area and Goodyear total 711 units and will be part of IPA’s “Liv” brand.
The new Liv North Valley will have 385 units and the Liv Goodyear will have 326 apartments. Construction will start this month with completion slated for the second half of 2018.
IPA will manage the properties.
Rockefeller and IPA most recently teamed to build the 402-unit Liv Northgate complex in Gilbert.
“We’re excited to be working with IPA to bring the Liv brand to Deer Valley and Goodyear. Our previous project, Liv Northgate in Gilbert, has proven the market’s demand for high quality developments with great amenities that create a real sense of community,” said Mark Singerman, regional director of Rockefeller Group’s Arizona office. “IPA has created a brand synonymous with best-in-class physical product that are also great places to live. We look forward to partnering with them on these and future developments.”
Rockefeller — which was founded by John D. Rockefeller as Metropolitan Square Corporation and developed Rockefeller Center in New York — is now an arm of Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.
Rockefeller also has new multifamily residential developments underway in New York and Fort Lauderdale.
