Arizona wine lovers now can have their favorite red or white shipped right to their door.
Thanks to the ever-disruptive tech giant Amazon.com, wine lovers can now place orders on Amazon Wine for delivery across the state. The Seattle-based retail juggernaut also popped the cork on the service in New York, Michigan and Louisiana.
Amazon Wine offers a vast wine-country selection, including vintages from wineries located in Arizona, California, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and Washington. In total, connoisseurs can purchase directly from more than 700 wine sellers offering more than 5,000 labels.
Amazon Wine launched last year and, with the latest slate of states, offers delivery to 20 states and the District of Columbia. It provides a platform for wine sellers to sell directly to consumers via Amazon.com.
“The holiday season is a busy time, and it’s a huge time-saver for millions of customers to have access to thousands of high-quality wines while they’re shopping for that special gift on Amazon. We’re excited for our customers to be able to browse our vast selection of boutique and prestigious labels through the Amazon Wine store,” said Peter Faricy, vice president for Amazon Marketplace. “Our customers tell us they enjoy our wine-country selection and the convenience of finding detailed information in one place. We want to connect customers with wine sellers around the country and provide a destination where they can learn about and purchase wines directly from great wineries on Amazon.”
Amazon Wine is available in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, and the District of Columbia.
